Regarding holding the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon, we at the Executive Committee have been repeatedly discussing with the concerned organizations to examine measures against the spreading novel coronavirus (COVID-19). We have been preparing for the safest event organization possible; however, our race is a mass event with 10,000 runners and we concluded that it was unfortunately difficult for our runners to take part confident in their security.

As a result, the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon on Sunday, April 26, 2020 will be canceled and will be held on April 25, 2021 as its 10th edition race.

We will take the following measures for our registered participants and would very much appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

1. Content of Measures
As a special measure for this once, the registered participants will be able to participate in the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon to be held next year.
Those who wish to take part in the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon next year will be asked to follow a necessary procedure for race entry again at a later date. They will not need to pay the participation fee again for the next year.
Participation fee and charity entry fee will not be refunded even to those who do not wish to register to the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon next year.

3. Others
We will notify more details including entry procedure for the 10th Takahashi Naoko Cup/Gifu Half Marathon to be next year on a later date. The re-entry application will be around October, 2020.
